Polarizing is a word that you’ve been hearing a lot of in the news. Of course, it is used to describe all of the candidates for president. I’ve never heard so many people say they will never vote for so and so. To be honest, I’ve said it also.
Some foods are polarizing.
Mention their name and you either get “I love that” or “I can’t stand
that”. Here are a couple of examples:
Oysters-I don’t know anyone who doesn’t have an opinion on these little beauties.
How about liver-Ask someone would you like a piece of liver
for dinner and you won’t get “ok, that’ll be fine” instead you know the answer
is either “Oh,Boy!” or “No Way”.
Another one is Blue Cheese.
Yup, it’s amazing how many people don’t like blue cheese. I for one love it. The other day Mary reminded me to not forget
to use the Blue Cheese we had in the fridge. She didn’t want it to go bad on us and stick-up the entire house. I
had forgotten about it and what a treat it was when I added it to my pasta.
As for presidential politics, maybe it’s a little like old cheese, it’s really starting to smell.
